Cultural impulse Anthroposophy
Anthroposophy in the twentieth century manifested itself as a holistic and practice-focused philosophy for mankind and the world. The name comes from the Greek words for the human being (Anthropos) and wisdom (Sophia).
Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), the founder of anthroposophic spiritual science, introduced not only new paths of self-development but also the possibility of establishing a spiritual and holistic approach to scientific, artistic and practical activities and projects, thereby helping to create a more healthy future for mankind and the earth.
The anthroposophic cultural movement has, in the mean time, accumulated more than a hundred years of experience in the fields of Waldorf Steiner education, remedial education, Anthroposophic Medicine and pharmacy, biodynamic agriculture, as well as in the artistic and architectural fields and in socio-economic projects. Such initiatives and activities are today found on all continents.
The ELIANT Alliance sees its task as being to demonstrate and promote the cultural contribution being made towards European development.
