New ways of dealing with money
Thousands of people around the world are working on alternative currency systems and developing new options, such as regional money, local exchange trading systems and time banks, like the long-standing Japanese scheme Fureai Kippu or the Time Bank of Athens in Greece, which sees itself as “a new form of solidarity”.
