Excitement in Ghana and Malawi

This year, proactive people in Ghana and Malawi have come together to organise a study week during which they can explore and gain a deeper understanding of the various fields of applied anthroposophy: biodynamic agriculture, Waldorf education, trauma education, social community building, African spirituality and Christianity, as well as other topics: ALL AFRICA ANTHROPOSOPHIC TRAINING. As in previous years, however, there will be a focus on the development of individual and social skills based on the anthroposophical path of schooling.

We consider this project to be particularly valuable for two reasons: on the one hand, it is a purely African initiative that began in Kenya and has so far been implemented by committed people in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar, Botswana and Namibia. On the other hand, it offers an opportunity for 100–140 interested people from 14–20 African countries to come together across national and linguistic boundaries to work together – either to learn about the anthroposophical cultural initiatives or to gain a deeper understanding of them.

We very much hope that, thanks to your financial support, we will be able to make our contribution to this fruitful work again this year. If we receive more money than is required, it will be allocated to next year’s further training week and will make the work of the new organising team easier.
