From 16–20 September 2026, the International Annual Conference of the Medical Section will take place at the Goetheanum in Dornach under the title “Standing on the Abyss. Trauma, Development and Resilience.” The conference aims to create a protected space in which both the wounds and scars of trauma, as well as the often unexpected possibilities for spiritual growth and new resilience, can be more deeply understood.

Through lectures, specialist meetings and multiprofessional working groups, current questions of anthroposophic medicine and therapy will be addressed: How can we meet the world and our fellow human beings in this time of profound change in a truly helpful and healing way?
